  What is Coaching?
 
   
 

Coaching is NOT therapy, which deals with emotional healing. Coaching is about empowerment, gaining clarity, and taking action to achieve the things you most value, want and need. Together, the client and coach become a team, focusing on what matters most to the client and accomplishing more than the client has been able to achieve alone.

Coaches and their clients form an interactive partnership which focuses on designing the strategies and developing the action steps that allow for the achievement of the goals most important to each client. The synergistic relationship of the coach and client create powerful results and a collaboration where the whole is truly greater than the sum of its parts.

Through the skills, creativity, accountability, and support a coach provides, clients are able to take more actions, think bigger, and achieve more than they ever have before.

Coaching is proven to work when there are two factors present:

  1. There is a gap between where the client is now and where he/she wants to be.
  2. The client is willing to grow, and is open to taking the actions necessary to do so.

These are the only conditions necessary for a coach and client to partner together to solve problems, turn a business around, design and implement a plan of action and/or create a whole new life.
